The Team of Farovon Khiva plants new trees every year to support the local ecosystem and improve the microclimate of the area.
This contributes to natural biodiversity, reduces erosion, and enriches the guest experience with green, climate-friendly outdoor spaces. It is also a great motivation for the Team, as they see their trees growing and changing each season.
To reduce plastic waste, the hotels do not use single-use toiletries. Instead, bathrooms are equipped with large, refillable shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers - helping prevent up to 100,000 plastic bottles each year while offering guests a higher-quality experience.
Single-use plastic items have been replaced with sustainable alternatives, including eco-friendly pencils instead of plastic pens and drinking water served in glass bottles.
A large field of solar panels installed behind the main building provides the hotel with a clean and sustainable source of energy.
Water-saving practices are applied, including towel reuse initiatives for multi-night stays.
Landscaping features local, drought-resistant plants, significantly reducing the need for irrigation and helping preserve regional water resources.
Energy-saving technologies are used throughout the hotels, including energy-efficient LED lighting, motion-sensor–controlled lighting in common areas, and efficient in-room temperature control systems.
